Stephen A. Singlar (Founder & President)

Steve is the founder of Single Digits, where he is responsible for the company's long-term goals and strategic partnerships. He brings over a decade of experience in many aspects of technology, including sales, marketing, support and management, all the while leveraging a complementary blend of hardware and software expertise.

Before establishing Single Digits, Steve held senior global sales positions for Enterasys' vertical markets that included the United States federal government, service providers and health care organizations. Prior to joining Enterasys, Steve achieved accolades at Cisco Systems and Arrowpoint Communications, receiving each company's top achievement awards as well as recognition for his success at Cabletron Systems.

Steve earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire. He's a natural leader who has built an excellent reputation within tech circles by consistently solving business challenges through technology and process. Outside of Single Digits, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. An avid runner, Steve is a Boston sports enthusiast and a harmonica player.

 

Robert Goldstein (Founder & CEO)

Bob brings over 15 years of industry leadership and experience. Prior to co-founding Single Digits, Bob built and managed another successful startup, RGS Communications Inc., where he quickly implemented a channel-driven sales and marketing strategy to grow structured cabling solution sales to over $2 million annually. From 1995-2000, Bob excelled in a number of technical sales and marketing roles at Cabletron Systems, where he leveraged his IP networking aptitude and strong customer focus to help the federal sales team consistently exceed its quota. Bob received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Southern Maine, at which he played four years of varsity tennis, and later earned an M.B.A. from Plymouth State College.

Bob still plays competitive baseball and tennis today, and enjoys the great outdoors of New Hampshire with his wife and three children. He is involved in a number of philanthropic groups, including the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nashua and proudly received the 2002 Volunteer of the Year Award from the local chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America.

 

Scott Michaud (Chief Operations Officer)

Scott brings over 20 years of business operations management and more than 15 years of technical experience in the networking and telecom industry with companies such as Cabletron Systems, Xylan and Alcatel. As general manager of Oxford Networks in 2000, Scott managed the buildout of facilities and network infrastructures. This launched a suite of data and co-location services and the deployment of one of the first MMDS fixed broadband wireless last mile networks in the U.S. Scott founded companies such as Alterracom Networks, which acquired the wireless business from Oxford, and CommStruction Cable and Wireless, a company that quickly gained a reputation for building high-quality wired and wireless networking systems.

Scott is known as an entrepreneur with a strong work ethic and a passion for technology and innovation. Scott enjoys many outdoor activities and is an accomplished musician. His proudest achievement is his family: wife Genevieve, daughters Emma and Lily, and son Scott Jr.

 

Gregory J. Marsh (Chief Technology Officer)

Greg brings over 40 years of technical experience with nearly 33 years designing, building, and managing networks for customers ranging from small businesses to multinational enterprises. He has worked with dozens of leading suppliers in the market including Cisco, Enterasys, and others. Greg has a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Management and Technology and an AAS in Electronic Technology from Belleville Area College. He holds many industry certifications including Microsoft's MCSE and MCDBA.

Although he does not have a PhD. many call him "Dr. Marsh", a nickname he picked up while the Technical Director of USEUCOM (the US Military European Command). His hobbies include genealogy and driving his grandchildren crazy.
